Below lists the general expectations that we have of people who use these Buy, Sell, Exchange forums. All aspects of the Site Rules and Site Disclaimer equally apply here. Read these first, if you haven’t already.

BUSINESSES:

Businesses are not permitted to post For Sale information on the forum unless they obtain written permission to do so first, from Seabright Motorsport.

SELLERS:

Please avoid 'Expressions of Interest' posts. You're either selling, or you're not - an EoI post needs to have some significant reason behind it to be acceptable. Think carefully before posting.

Sellers need to make clear in their posts:
- What they're selling - make/model/variant
- What their price expectation is
- Where they are located! (important!)
- How to contact them. PM/Email/Phone or whatever.

Sellers should also set their forum preferances to notify them as people respond to their thread. This requires you to have a valid email address in your forum profile.

BUYERS/READERS:

Show some respect for the people posting, as you may wish that respect to be reciprocated when YOU sell something.

Don't spam peoples threads. Genuine enquires or expressions of interest are OK - but anything else - don't post.

Don’t Hi-jack peoples For Sale threads, by offering the same/similar product. Make your own Ad and Leave them to sell their wares. Also don’t make negative comments that you can’t substantiate, you may find your membership disabled if you do.

Don't make abusive comments about some ones expectations. If you think someone is asking too much, say so - in a respectful fashion. You're entitled to your opinion - so are they - you don't need to agree. If its too expensive, no one will make an offer.

TIPS when using Buy, Sell, Exchange forums

Make the subject meaningful - ie if you are selling a 1998 Subaru WRX, advertise it as a "1998 Subaru WRX", not a super fast Evo Eta

DON’T use txt speak - it makes it hard to read and makes you sound/look/appear retarded

Include the price or price range

Include pictures

Answer peoples questions if they are reasonable

Include your location

Don’t just post a Trade Me link and nothing else - many people can’t access Trade Me at work, so copy and paste the Trade Me ad and pictures into your post

Please when you have found or sold the item you are looking for, add a SOLD or FOUND or similar to your thread topic

We can and will remove posts that do not comply with these rules.
